February arrives, and the world is awash in messages about romantic love. But what if this month, you turned that focus inward? What if the most important relationship you nurtured was the one with yourself?
The secret to a truly fulfilling February—and indeed, to all your relationships—lies in a powerful, often-overlooked phase of your cycle: your Inner Summer. This isn't about a season on the calendar, but a season within you that holds the key to confidence, connection, and radiant self-love.

What is Your "Inner Summer"?
Your Inner Summer, or the Ovulatory Phase, is the peak of your cycle. Occurring right in the middle, it’s a window of time when estrogen and testosterone peak, making you feel magnetic, articulate, and socially confident.
This is your time to shine. Your energy is outward-flowing, making you a natural connector and communicator. It’s the perfect time to focus on all forms of love—especially the one you have for yourself.
How to Cultivate Self-Love in Your Inner Summer:
This phase is all about the H (Heart & Harmony) in our B-H-R Framework. Here’s how to harness it for deep self-appreciation:
1. Celebrate Your Strengths: Your brain is clear and confident. Make a list of what you love about yourself—your skills, your resilience, your sense of humour. Read it aloud. This isn't vanity; it's building a foundation of self-worth.
2. Communicate Your Needs: You are at your most articulate. Use this clarity to have a kind but honest conversation you’ve been avoiding, or simply to voice your own needs more clearly to yourself and others.
3. Connect from a Full Cup: Schedule time with people who make you feel energized and seen. Your social battery is high, so enjoy it! But remember, the goal is connection that fills you up, not drains you.
4. Embrace Your Radiance: This is the time to wear the outfit that makes you feel powerful, to share your ideas in a meeting, or to take that new class. Let your inner light shine outwards without apology.
